“Seventy-Five thousand homes were destroyed.”
Perfect.
“Every entry after that was the same way.”
Yes.
“And anyone?” I ask after a moment.
Oh, okay.
“Over the centuries, wine has been drunk out of a variety of glasses, ranging from heavy beakers to delicate crystal flutes.”
I don’t drink, so I can only assume this is a metaphor. …No, I still don’t know what this means.
” ‘But this one was walking, I tell you; and there ain’t no elm tree on the North Moors.’ “
welp.
“So well intended, and yet so insulting,”
Lol wut.
“Arguments such as these, and the fact that children hardly ever get any feedback to tell them when they have made a grammatical error, have led linguistics to suggest that languages would be unlearnable if the only input provided to the child was the language itself.”
I… have no idea how to interpret this.

I really don’t remember any, so I will just tell 2 moments that made me sad or teary-eyed instead.
1. Courage the Cowardly Dog
Remembrance of Courage Past

It’s an episode where we find out how he ended up with Muriel and what happened to his parents. It was probably the saddest episode during the whole show really.
2. Glee
Imagine performance

Legend of Korra fandom
I am begging you. Please for the love of everything, use your knowledge of the past series and stop trying to pass this image around as Aang = Amon.
The Mythos of the avatar is quite obvious. There can NOT be two avatars. Korra would NOT be the avatar if Aang was still alive in any way, shape or form. There is only ONE avatar spirit. Aang therefore can NOT exist while Korra exists. This image claims to be a leak from an arabic speaking country. However, if this image has been “leaked” why was any clip related to it not leaked? Because more than likely: It. Isn’t. Real.
Korra fandom, I love you guys, but please stop with the Amon = Aang theories. This stuff has no backing besides a MAYBE POSSIBLE screenshot from a MAYBE POSSIBLE episode and would make no sense in the world and mythos Bryke have created. They aren’t ones to write bad stories or retcon things, they aren’t about to make some weird shift where one avatar can magically live while there is a second. It doesn’t work that way.
I’m pretty sure I read somewhere it’s from either Tenzin’s or Korra’s nightmare. So yeah, this screenshot may be possible and it actually WOULD make sense (since nightmares happen, right?), but it’s been around for a really long time now so high chances it’s fake anyway.

Sokka: You want me to be like you or to be totally honest?
Katara: Are you saying I’m a liar?
Sokka: I’m saying you’re an optimist. Same thing basically.

So I was just revising for the awesomest exam I’m going to have in 3 hours and realized something about the whole Asami and the equalist deal.
Okay, so let me just say I liked Asami since start and didn’t see the reason why people hated her so much. I was really happy when she turned out not to be an equalist. But now, after 4 days of watching it just struck me: is she really?
So far Amon seems to have planned everything and have everything under his control. The only thing he might not have expected is that Korra found out Sato is working with him. So he most likely told Mr Sato to lure the police down to take care of their force as sooner or later he would have to anyway and what’s better way than a good trap. His lieutenant was there as well if I am not mistaken, so Amon must have known about the plan.
Asami got angry at first because she knew her and her father lies would come out (people sometimes react like that in such situations). When she heard of the plan she had to keep up the act though. She took out the equalists rather easily because they just put up an act. So now by going against her father she would have successfully infiltrated team Avatar and one of the council member’s houses.
Alternatively, Amon could have planned everything from Asami inviting them over her house to Korra finding out Sato’s working for him to Asami’s infiltration, but I don’t think anyone is THAT much of a mastermind.
Anyway, this is just a theory. I really hope she doesn’t turn out to be an equalist tho. But this is kind of bugging me in addition to some other things.
Anyway, back to revision. 2.5hrs left.
